FoodProm1 is certified with the quality management system / food safety management system, according to ISO 22000:2005 standard.

The International Standard ISO 22000:2005 provides the necessary organizational structures and the minimum requirements that an organization or a company shall meet in order to achieve ISO 22000:2005 Certification. The food safety management system includes the description of the company’s organization, written instructions for the operations performed by the company and the operations which influence the food safety, applicable forms and documents as well as control and evaluation tools for the system’s operation.

In order to guarantee the complete alignment with the standard ISO 22000, the company shall adhere strictly to the following principles of good functioning:

  • it shall apply regulations on good industrial practice both at operational level and at the plant level
  • it shall apply a disinsectization - disinfection system on the company’s premises
  • it shall apply a cleaning system in the production facilities
  • it shall carry certificates of suitability for contact with raw materials of the food industry and packaging materials
  • All employees of the company who come into contact with the food supplies have a special health booklet issued by the competent authority of the Prefecture

The certification of the food safety management system guarantees the recognition of the FoodProm1 commitment corresponding to sustained efforts to reduce the possibility of risks in foodstuffs, to improve its production process, while it facilitates the company’s transactions with other companies and strengthens its position against the internal and external competition.
